Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 cups cold sparkling cola
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 lemon slices for garnish
  • 4 fresh mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved. If the honey is thick, you can warm it slightly in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make it easier to mix.
  • Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir to combine. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if needed. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 5 minutes if the ingredients weren’t already cold.
  • Just before serving, pour in the cold sparkling cola and stir gently to avoid losing too much fizz. Add ice cubes to the pitcher or individual glasses.
  • Garnish each serving with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing fizz!

Notes

Pro Tips: Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the brightest flavor. Chill all ingredients beforehand to keep the drink extra refreshing. Adjust honey to taste—start with less and add more if needed. For a stronger cola flavor, let the mixture sit for 5 minutes before serving. Storage: Store in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Stir well before serving as the fizz may settle. Variations: Add a splash of ginger ale for extra spice, or muddle fresh mint leaves for a herbal twist. For a caffeine-free version, use caffeine-free cola.
